Native Instruments Native Access application is required to install and activate Kontakt libraries using your product serial number. If this is your first Kontakt library, please install Native Access from the Native Instruments website.
Add your library to Native Access by clicking Add a serial in the top-left corner. The serial number of your new ProjectSAM library can be found in your online account, as well as in your order confirmation e-mail if you purchased directly from us.
Please note that a serial number is different from a challenge code. A serial number is a 5×5-digit number used to activate a library. It represents your license. A challenge code is a text string that is used for the challenge-response registration system on the ProjectSAM website. It is used only once and is then converted into a serial number.
After your serial number has been successfully verified, Native Access will ask you to locate the folder containing the library you are adding. Click the Browse button and point it to the correct folder. This is the folder in which you unzipped your download, unless you moved the Library folder to another location afterwards.
\r\n\tThe easiest way is to use the Gen5 file originally sent with your reader (on CD or USB). If you do not have this file, the latest Gen5 version can be requested from our Customer Care Center or you can review the available versions here . Once you receive the software file, follow the instructions provided. The installation will require that a user with administrator rights be logged in to the PC. Registering the newly installed software will require your Gen5 serial number. This number can be found on the CD or USB case received with your reader. It can also be retrieved from the Gen5 installation on the old computer by navigating to System > About Gen5 from within the software.
If your serial number is for a different language than the installation language you select (for example, you purchased a German Creative Suite, but attempt to install it in English), you will get an invalid serial number error. Reinstall the product, choose the correct language, and enter the serial number when prompted.
The Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool is designed to run after you uninstall your Adobe application. Run the appropriate uninstaller to remove the application producing the invalid serial number error first, and then run the Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool.
Libraries that are developed for Kontakt Full (open format libraries) do not require authorization via Native Access. That is why these libraries do not come with a Native Access serial number. Unlike Kontakt Player libraries that can be opened via the Library tab in Kontakt, you use Kontakt's "Files" browser to load patches, or even better, Kontakt's Quickload feature: =krwzsLSNs4A&t.
If there is no serial number included, then you purchased a full Kontakt retail (non-player) library that does not require activation. Simply load the .NKIs through the Kontakt file browser, or directly from the downloaded instruments folder.
SERIAL LOCKEDWe certainly understand your situation and can help resolve this issue.Your account is locked because you have reached your maximum authorization limit for your Sample Logic sample library. This can be due to multiple reasons. As defined in our license agreement, you are limited to 2 machine authorizations and if you wish to have more than 2 computers authorized, an additional license must be purchased. If you have replaced an old machine, or reformatted your current machine, your account may be locked. In order for us to resolve this particular issue, please e-mail our support team with your Native Instruments associated e-mail address and your product serial number. Once we receive your response, we will de-authorize any additional computers we have on record that are not in use. This will unlock your account.
Help us help you by having the following information and materials ready before you call: your SERVER's invoice and serial numbers; service tag number; model and model numbers; the current version of the operating system you are using; and the brand names and models of any peripheral devices (such as a modem) you are using.
